I spend 4 month during Summer 2016 on the beautiful island of Bonaire ,working at Jibe City located at Sorobon Bay. It was windy all the time, mostly for the 5.2, but we had also many good 4.8 days. As the wind blows all day long I had more then enough time to sail, usually it’s even stronger before and after work.
Somebody told me ones, to see how good a spot is you have to check the level of the locals. I think that’s so true! I learned a lot in this time, many new moves, mostly all the sliding ones, but these then even double and tripple 
For me Bonaire is the perfect place to improve your windsurfing, no matter whats your level, as you have the same conditions every day, it’s super flat on both tacks and ones you got the move you can also try it in more tricky and choppy conditions.
I’m already back on the island, winds blowing super strong and I’m working on some power moves this year!
