It is a situation that is hard to comprehend in person, and even more difficult to explain to someone that was not there. One can only say that it looks like some sort of cartoon. No way would I have been able to draw this type of wave on a notebook back in my school days, I doubt there would be a way to imagine it in the first place, or a notebook long enough.
