Our plan was for Timo and Jamie to open up with a session at Woolacombe in North Devon on the first day and hook up with the Kings and Blacky in Cornwall at Godrevy on the second and windier day of our mission.
52 miles down the track from Exeter, Woolacombe is your quintessential seaside town overlooking a stunning two-mile long sandy beach, which is popular for surfing and patrolled by life guards.
On first inspection I had my doubts that it was windy enough to sail but the boys had other ideas and proved me wrong by scoring a solid two hours on the water.
