What is your game plan for the next five years on tour and any ideas in mind for when you eventually retire from sailing?
I’m hoping I never have to retire. Right now I’m already working full time on the sail design side of things and this will hopefully keep me on the water for many more years to come. I absolutely love it still, whether it’s slalom blasting, freestyle or waves. It’s all enjoyable and, as long as there’s variety in it, it keeps me very motivated.
I imagine, as time moves on, I will travel less and probably spend more time moving between the islands, to catch the good days on Fuerte say, but, whatever happens, if I can get on the water most days I’ll be very happy.
