We saw you have held some cool clinics in Morocco the past few seasons. Is the coaching side something you enjoy and would like to expand?
Yes, but in the end there are not enough days in the year. I love doing the Morocco Wave Camp. We always have super nice people on it, who at the end of the day love wavesailing and just want to go sailing and learn something.
I worked with Jem Hall quite a bit in the past so I have a good coaching background. For sure I can’t match the other ‘Gurus’ for the teaching knowledge, but what we try to offer is some great sailing with some top tips throw in.
Often the tiniest tips can transform someone’s wave sailing. It’s actually really motivating for me too, to see everyone pushing their own limits – whether it’s a first forward loop or simply making it out back for the first time on a big day. It’s very inspirational!
