How do you get along with Roberto Ricci and what qualities do you admire about him?
We get on pretty well I think, and I think if we didn’t I wouldn’t be doing what I’m doing as he likes to have people around him that are part of his family. He is amazingly positive about everything and I guess what impresses me the most is how passionate he is about every product.
For example a new sample of a budget SUP paddle arrived whilst we were in South Africa and he was so excited to unpack it! Amazing after so many years to have so much passion about every side of the company and he is still really active in the development of everything.
Also, it’s great to see him on the water everyday. He is so busy, but always finds time to get out on the water and he loves it. I think his favourite is to be on the water with his riders sharing waves.
