How is it having Whitey [Dave White] on board with the team as well?
Awful! He nearly killed me in South Africa. The guy doesn’t know when to stop. We would get up at 5.30 a.m., drive 2 hours, shoot for 3 hours, move spots, shoot another 2 hours, then head home for an evening session close to the house.
Then, when I could barely move, he would set up some crazy sunset flash shot and demand I get back into my wet wetsuit and stand on some rocks in the dark, whilst waves break over me, trying to wash me off.
The results were good in the end, but I must admit I wanted to kill him a number of times. It’s top craic though. We were driving a lot of the time with Jem, Whitey and me in the van and it was non-stop abuse the whole time.
